“So, there was a menu change up for Santa’s cookies last Christmas ?? with Rara Avis (Rare Bird) Fortified Haskap Berry wine produced from organically grown Haskap from Echo Haskap farm located near Echo Lake Provincial Park in the Okanagan Valley.
Fragrant with dark berry aromas and gently sweet on the palate with cassis, crushed raspberry, dark chocolate, Christmas baking spices, the made-in-British Columbia dessert wine is balanced with bright, juicy acidity and was an amazing pairing, lightly chilled, with several 😉 dark chocolate Lebkuchen (gingerbread) cookies, and I think it would also be a great pairing with any dark chocolate and berry dessert (hint, hint… Valentine’s Day).”
